A vital branch of the greater community

As a community owned organisation Lyndoch Living has been shaped over the last five years by our direct links with the community.  Historically, we can show that our growth as an organisation coincides with the requirements and expectations of the community we serve – the great South West of Victoria.

While our core purpose as an organisation is to provide the community with specific services, care and support; we also provide the public with amazing opportunities in terms of employment and professional development.  With a diverse range of career paths to choose from, and frequent offers for training and development, suitably motivated people can feel secure and thrive in their chosen line of work with us.

However, it is not only our staff that benefit from our training and unique work environment, but our stellar group of volunteers as well.  The service provided by our volunteers substantially enriches the lives of the residents and clients we care for all the while affording a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow themselves, whether it is through a training program that we offer, or through the general day-to-day tasks they perform while working with us.

For years now, students and trainees have also been learning new skills and getting an idea of what kind of career might suit them through their dealings with us.  From our early origins to today, we have opened our doors to local students completing their rounds to attain their degree/diploma, or completing community service accolades such as the Duke of Edinburgh, or simply gaining an insight into work life.
