Thorough and attentive care in a home environment

Lake Lodge is a modern residence providing a welcoming environment that has been designed and purpose-built to provide 40 places for people with high care needs.

The layout at Lake Lodge is open and relaxed with access to outside landscaped courtyards. The majority of rooms are single with an ensuite, whilst all rooms are tastefully decorated and come equipped with television and telephone connections and hydronic heating. Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms and make them their own. A number of cosy sitting areas are available to residents and families for quiet interactions while the hub is the central dining area which allows people to reconnect with people from their past, reignite old friendships or make new ones.

At Lake Lodge we pride ourselves in providing care in a homelike environment that promotes engagement and companionship. Our staff aim to build relationships with and between our residents through a range of social programs designed to encourage participation and engagement. However simple day-to-day activities and access to our range of on-site services including hairdressing, podiatry and physiotherapy also contribute to the feeling of being part of a community.

Outdoors, there is also a friendly, active environment with regular barbecues, and residents are encouraged to join our leisure and lifestyle programs. Residents are welcome to utilise the garden to plant and grow flowers and vegetables which are then included in residents meals, with flowers used as floral arrangements for display around the home.
