Claims by the ANF industrial relations organiser Peter Birch that Lyndoch is moving towards privatisation are unfounded.  Privatisation is not on Lyndoch’s agenda now or into the future and there have been no discussions with the Department of Health in relation to this matter.

Further inference that the rebranding of the organisation to Lyndoch Living is in any way connected to the EBA negotiations or to a supposed move to privatisation is grossly speculative.  Our rebranding emanated from the results of market research into community understanding of our services and their expectations of us.  The rebranding has captured the essence of what we are and what we aspire to be in the future.

In relation to the negotiation of a new enterprise bargaining agreement, Lyndoch has been actively discussing this with the Department of Health and the Victorian Hospitals Industrial Association and has kept, and will continue to keep the staff and ANF representatives informed.   Lyndoch Living will continue to provide high quality care with appropriately qualified staff.
