One of the most common questions the dynamic Living@Home team at Lyndoch Living are asked is “exactly what services can I access through the Living@Home program?”
The answer is, almost anything!
Lyndoch Living@Home has been designed to help you to live independently in your home for as long as you can, and that means being flexible in delivering what you require to help you live the life that you choose.
If you need assistance with showering, toileting and dressing Lyndoch’s personal services team are on call to help you out.
If it’s nutrition, hydration, meal preparation and diet that’s proving difficult for you to manage, their care workers can help to prepare a meal and provide assistance with feeding.
Continence management and assistance with mobility and dexterity are common requests and the Lyndoch team can assist by providing walking aids, lifting devices, bed rails, as well as pressure relieving mattresses.
Nursing, Allied Health and other clinical services such as speech therapy, podiatry, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, hearing and vision services can also be provided.
Lyndoch even assists with transport and personal assistance with shopping, visiting health practitioners and attending social activities. If you simply need someone to walk the dog or mow the lawn, Lyndoch can provide!
A number of new and innovative service options have recently been added such as the community nurse and a handyman, complementing Lyndoch’s growing service team. They also hope to add other services such as lymphedema massage and myotherapy in the not too distant future.
Lyndoch’s experienced care workers are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can ask for as little or as much help as you like, whether you want to give a family member a break for a few weeks, or you need an ongoing service.
