Meet Robyn, Lyndoch Living’s Continuous Improvement Coordinator.
Robyn has worked at Lyndoch for 11 years and describes herself as a loyal and passionate hard worker. Robyn has recently joined the Continuous Improvement Team but has had various roles at Lyndoch. Before starting at Lyndoch, Robyn worked as an Enrolled Nurse at the Frankston Hospital, specialising in rehab.
With special family connections to Lyndoch, Robyn decided it was where she wanted to work. So she stepped away from nursing and went into a case management role, then moved into the Homestead Community Services area. Robyn then went back to nursing for a brief amount of time and eventually applied for the position of Respite Coordinator, which she did for several years. This role was all about supporting and assisting people who lived out in the community with specialised programs to keep them active and living independently.
Robyn said, “I loved working with consumers to make the pathway through aged care easier and assisting people with staying in their own homes for as long as possible.”
Robyn’s recent move into the Continuous Improvement Team is something new, but she enjoys challenges. This role is all about working as a team to make quality improvements across the Lyndoch Living and May Noonan facilities and provide a quality experience for our residents.
Robyn says she has been lucky to work with amazing people and been provided with many exciting opportunities throughout her time at Lyndoch.
Robyn loves being out in her garden, socialising, and eating good food in her spare time!
Thanks for sharing your story with us Robyn!
