The practice commenced operating out of the current Liebig Street Warrnambool premises in 1912. Since then, Warrnambool Medical Clinic has grown to become the area’s largest medical practice. From April 2019 the clinic will be known as the Warrnambool Medical Clinic by Lyndoch Living, but the practice will remain in their current locations (Liebig Street, Target Centre and Mortlake) until the completion of the new healthcare centre adjacent to the Lyndoch Living Residential Services in Hopkins Road. The Lyndoch HealthCare precinct will become a great centre for health and wellness living, located on the Hopkins River.
Doctors at each clinic are supported by our full-time Practice Manager, together with the main clinic’s administrative and nursing teams and will have easy access to our five resident allied health practitioners – a mental health nurse, two diabetes educators, a dietitian and a podiatrist. Warrnambool Medical Clinic is a Teaching Practice, providing experience and training for Registrars at all stages of their education. We also host final-year medical students from Deakin Medical School and occasional nursing students from Deakin University.
Lyndoch is the largest provider of aged care services in the South West region, a progressive organisation that offers employees a supportive and safe team environment, generous salary packaging arrangements and professional development opportunities. From humble beginnings in Warrnambool in 1952 Lyndoch Living has grown and expanded and is focussed on meeting the aged and extended care needs of the southwest, now the major provider of aged and extended care services to our community.

WWC check, current Police Check and APHRA registration at Registered Nurse Division 1 level is essential, as is a minimum of 2 years General Practice experience.
