  • 0

Shelley shares her experiences throughout her working life and her journey to where she is today with Lyndoch Living.

Lyndoch Living team member Shelley has spent the last 10 years working towards her dream job. Shelly commenced as a casual Personal Care Worker, then coordinated the Living@Home program and worked part-time as a ward clerk.

Shelley is now a Support Advisor for the Home Care Packages team. This role supports and manages residents living independently in their own homes.

Before commencing work at Lyndoch, Shelley was working as a volunteer in the disability support field. After caring for her ill father for some time, she eventually transitioned from disability to aged care. “Knowing I am making a difference means the world to me,” she said. In addition, Shelley enjoys providing a high level of customer service to the Lyndoch Living community.

Outside of work, Shelley is kept busy with her family and horses. She is heavily involved in Equestrian Australia, including show jumping, Dennington Pony Club, and the Wannon Zone. Shelly is also a commentator for the local shows and works with Pony Club Victoria as a coach, mentor, trainer and assessor. She also won Pony Club Victoria Coach of the Year in 2019.

Thanks for caring Shelley!
