Outsource those mundane everyday tasks and get busy living your life!

One of the most common questions Lyndoch’s Living@Home team are asked is “exactly what in-home services can I access through the Living@Home program?”  The answer is, almost anything!

Living@Home is available in Warrnambool, Hamilton, Portland and everywhere in between.  The program has been designed to help you live independently in your home, and that means being flexible in delivering what you require to help you live the life that you choose.  Be it help in the garden, assistance getting to social outings, home care, meal deliveries or just taking the dog for a walk, their team of friendly and experienced staff are there to support you in any aspect of your life to allow you to continue living the lifestyle that you choose.

Gardening/Home Maintenance

Living@Home gardening will keep your lawns in check, prune your roses, trim hedges, weed and edge, whatever is required, whether your garden is big or small. If you’re finding it hard to get out and tame your block, or are just time poor, their dedicated team will have your garden trimmed and under control in no time. While they’re at it, they can also organise someone to clean your windows or repair your fence – you name it, they can help.

Living@Home’s gardening services cater for people of all ages and walks in life.  If you have something better to be doing on the weekend than mowing your lawns, this service is for you!

Personal care

Living@Home provides you with your own experienced care worker, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide assistance with daily tasks according to your individual needs, be it cleaning the house, sorting laundry, assisting with showering, preparing meals or collecting your mail. You can ask for as little or as much help as you like, whether it be an hour, a week, or you need an ongoing service.

Social support

A big part of a quality lifestyle is ensuring our customers remain connected and engaged with your wider community. Living@Home can get you to your appointments, help with the shopping or just provide companionship.  Whether it be your regular game of bowls, or just a catch up with your friends, we are committed to ensuring our customers are supported in your everyday life.  Lyndoch also offers in-home respite for carers who might need a day or two off, and can recommend programs that enable you to meet new people and share in activities.

Meals

Living@Home’s healthy, nutritious and delicious meals are delivered straight to our customer’s door. With a huge range of meals to choose from, their menu changes monthly so you’ll never be short of choice, from the more traditional mouth-watering roasts, shepherds pies, and parmas to delicious curries and stir fries.   Meals are prepared weekly, snap frozen and delivered to your door with a smile.  What makes this service special is not only the fantastic food, but the friendly staff who go out of their way to support you, going the extra mile to pour you a cuppa or bringing in the mail with your meals.

If you think Living@Home can assist in maintaining your independence, or that of a loved one, phone 1300 LYNDOCH, visit www.lyndoch.org.au, and get busy living with Lyndoch Living@Home.
