Allied Health Services at The Stables by Lyndoch Living

Our allied health services work with people who have a disability, chronic illness or recovering from illness or injury. Our focus is to work with you and your doctor to help you regain, or maintain, a level of fitness and independence.

Our services can help you manage your health condition through a personalised program tailored to your ability and specific health status.

We can work with you to help with the following:

  • improve balance and confidence walking
  • work on your strength to participate in your preferred activities
  • help you with memory difficulties and communication skills
  • make changes to your home environment to improve access and safety
  • identify appropriate services to support you at home

Our program has a fully equipped gymnasium, located at The Stables, Marfell Road Warrnambool.

Our Allied Health team is made up of a dedicated group of professionals with qualifications in:

  • Welfare
  • Nursing
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Physiotherapy
  • Podiatry
  • Occupational Therapy

We offer a range of groups and individual programs to support people with specific conditions such as:

  • Arthritis
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Stroke (CVA)
  • Dementia and other memory issues
  • Functional decline

We are able to support people with individualised interventions such as home safety assessments, mobility aids, continence support, memory support and exercise. As well as linking consumers/participants with the right services and supports within and beyond Lyndoch Living.
