Lyndoch Living thanks Ted Rayment for remarkable three months at the helm and welcomes new talent

Lyndoch Living has appointed a new Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ms Jill Davidson, who will commence in the role on Monday 5 December 2022. The appointment will build on the significant work undertaken over the past three months by Mr Ted Rayment.

Ms Davidson is a highly experienced healthcare professional with more than 20 years of experience in CEO and executive roles within the health and aged care sectors both in Australia and internationally.

Prior to joining Lyndoch Living, Ms Davidson was the Director of Nursing and Acting CEO of various residential aged care services across Tamworth to Wauchope, Port Macquarie, Bairnsdale, Orbost and Albury, Wodonga. She has significant experience leading healthcare services through COVID-19 outbreaks.

Ms Davidson was the Infection Control Educator across South East Asia and was responsible for implementing international standards to all clinical and non-clinical staff. Ms Davidson will take over in the Acting CEO role from Mr Ted Rayment who was on a short-term contract.

After three months at the organisation’s helm, Mr Ted Rayment provided significant stability to Lyndoch Living during a challenging time. He worked closely with the senior leadership team to continue implementing important building blocks to continue the organisations focus of ensuring staff are supported and providing high-quality care to residents.

Board President Susan Cassidy welcomed the appointment and reiterated the breadth of expertise Ms Davidson brings to the organisation will complement the capabilities of the current executive and leadership teams.

“Our priority has always been on providing high-quality and safe care to our residents and supporting our committed team of professionals who deliver this care. The appointment of Ms Jill Davidson will provide ongoing stability for our service and bring additional expertise that will continue our momentum,” said Ms Cassidy.

“We extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Mr Rayment for his support and expertise during these past few months. Lyndoch Living has been fortunate to secure and receive the services of such an experienced leader and we are incredibly thankful to Mr Rayment for stepping in when we needed.”

“We are also thankful for Mr Rayment who was committed to finding a suitable replacement of someone who could continue leading the organisation in the same positive direction. We know Mr Rayment wouldn’t have finished his time with us without knowing Lyndoch Living was in safe hands.”

Ms Jill Davidson and Mr Ted Rayment will be undertaking a handover from 5-8 December 2022.

Lyndoch Living continues to make significant progress in investing and supporting its committed workforce. Over the past three months, Lyndoch Living has re-established its clinical leadership structure across the organisation through the support of a Clinical Adviser from the Aged Care Advisory Service, and through the appointments of an Acting Director of Nursing, Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator and Clinical Support Registered Nurse.

Lyndoch Living will continue to provide updates to the community.
