Lyndoch Living thanks Ted Rayment for remarkable three months at the helm and welcomes new talent
Lyndoch Living has appointed a new Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ms Jill Davidson, who will commence in the role on Monday 5 December 2022. The appointment will build on the significant work undertaken over the past three months by Mr Ted Rayment.
Ms Davidson is a highly experienced healthcare professional with more than 20 years of experience in CEO and executive roles within the health and aged care sectors both in Australia and internationally.
Prior to joining Lyndoch Living, Ms Davidson was the Director of Nursing and Acting CEO of various residential aged care services across Tamworth to Wauchope, Port Macquarie, Bairnsdale, Orbost and Albury, Wodonga. She has significant experience leading healthcare services through COVID-19 outbreaks.
Ms Davidson was the Infection Control Educator across South East Asia and was responsible for implementing international standards to all clinical and non-clinical staff. Ms Davidson will take over in the Acting CEO role from Mr Ted Rayment who was on a short-term contract.
After three months at the organisation’s helm, Mr Ted Rayment provided significant stability to Lyndoch Living during a challenging time. He worked closely with the senior leadership team to continue implementing important building blocks to continue the organisations focus of ensuring staff are supported and providing high-quality care to residents.
Board President Susan Cassidy welcomed the appointment and reiterated the breadth of expertise Ms Davidson brings to the organisation will complement the capabilities of the current executive and leadership teams.

Ms Jill Davidson and Mr Ted Rayment will be undertaking a handover from 5-8 December 2022.
Lyndoch Living continues to make significant progress in investing and supporting its committed workforce. Over the past three months, Lyndoch Living has re-established its clinical leadership structure across the organisation through the support of a Clinical Adviser from the Aged Care Advisory Service, and through the appointments of an Acting Director of Nursing, Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator and Clinical Support Registered Nurse.
