Your sneak peek at the May Noonan Centre by Lyndoch Living

  • 0

Residents of the May Noonan Centre were excited this morning when they had a sneak peek at the completed refurbishment of the communal areas. In awe, they couldn’t get over the transformation, saying:

“The space is beautiful, and I now feel I have dignity.”

“The chairs are comfortable.”

“It’s so relaxing and light.”

The design creates spaces where residents can relax with each other, their friends and family, or relax with a book in the light-filled library. There’s even a private dining room for residents and families to come together.

The design and new furnishings clarify the lounge, dining, and library zones and uses specific materials to reduce noise by improving:

  • the acoustics
  • mobility access through improved flooring
  • natural and ambient lighting

Comfort, dignity, and care have been essential factors in planning every element of the refurbishment.

A big thank you to AWNicholson and Marchese Partners, who were the essential services team managing the design, construction, maintenance and repair of this infrastructure project.
